Pilates

Our Pilates sessions are physiotherapy-led, which means every session is built around your specific injury, goal, or stage of recovery, not a generic class format.

We offer 1:1 30/60-minute sessions, or 2:1 60-minute sessions if you'd like to bring a friend along, using both reformer and mat-based work. Sessions are used to rehab injuries and pain, build core and overall strength, and support recovery during and after pregnancy. 1:1 pilates can also be used to set up a home program if you have a reformer or simply with mat work, or to review pilates reformer technique/ exercises if you are doing group exercise classes in the community.

Because it's run by your treating physiotherapist, pilates here isn't separate from your physio treatment. It's part of the same plan. That means the exercises, loads, and progressions are chosen specifically for what you need, whether that's rebuilding strength safely after an injury, managing ongoing back or pelvic pain, or building a stronger foundation before returning to sport or training.

Who pilates can help:

  • People rehabbing an injury who need a structured, progressive strength program

  • Anyone managing chronic pain who benefits from controlled, low-impact movement

  • Pregnant and postpartum clients wanting core and pelvic floor-focused rehab

  • Anyone wanting a more personalised alternative to a group reformer class

Session options:

  • 1:1, 30/60 minutes

  • 2:1 (bring a friend), 60 minutes
